Anyone who has been to our shop knows that safety and cleanliness have always been a priority at Douglas Automotive Repair. We wanted to keep you updated on steps we are taking to keep everyone (employees and customers) safe during this time of heightened concern.
Our shop has always been cleaned daily—it’s just the nature of our business! We’ve now adding disinfecting surfaces, door knobs, keyboards, and all handles several times throughout the day instead of just at the end of the day. Our restrooms will continue to be cleaned and stocked with essentials daily.
Because of the nature of the work we do (greasy auto repair!), our employees have always washed their hands multiple times throughout the day. This will continue.
Customer gear shifts, door handles and steering wheels will be disinfected before the vehicle is returned to you.
Above all, we have no higher priority than the health and well-being of our loyal customers and family-oriented staff. For those customers with compromised health issues who wish to have their vehicle serviced, please call us. We’d be happy to pick up your car and deliver it back to you after it’s serviced.
